Research Interests:

My group at UC Riverside has developed a diverse physical chemistry research program unified through applications of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). There are now three distinct research directions in my group encompassing the following areas: (1) Structure and Dynamics with Solid-State NMR: emphasizing the development of novel experimental and theoretical methods; (2) Dynamic NMR: a quantum-statistical treatment of chemical exchange and new applications to kinetic and thermodynamic studies of small molecules in solution and gas phases; and (3) New Physics in NMR: quantum computing in the solid state with single crystal NMR.
